Job Description
LSTC have opportunities available for self-employed Overhead Powerline Inspector roles covering Northwest England. While experience is preferred, it is not essential – we’re committed to training and developing the right candidates to build a career in the energy industry, supporting the push toward Net Zero.
Requirements of an Overhead Line Inspector:
- Outdoor working
- The ability to work independently
- Self-motivation and discipline
- Clean current DBS check
- Full UK driving license and own vehicle
Responsibilities of an Overhead Line Inspector:
- Condition Based Assessments of Electricity Networks and their assets
- Performing different inspection and testing methodologies
- Interpretive skills
- Script completions via handheld tablets and phones
- Liaising with landowners
- Reporting dangerous situations and faults immediately
