We are currently expanding our ENGINEERING SERVICES and are looking for a CAD Drafter to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients

Job Description

Working as part of a growing team and reporting to the Principal Surveyor or Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with CAD Drafters, Administrators, and Water Hygiene Surveyors across a wide range of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to produce accurate 2D NanoCAD/AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans and water system schematics, based on survey information and hand-drawn sketches. The role will also involve providing CAD drafting support to other engineering disciplines within the business as required

Qualifications

  • High level of competency and experience using NanoCAD/AutoCAD.
  • Experience with the production of 2D drawings.
  • Knowledge of the latest industry standards relating to Water Hygiene surveys.
  • Ability to interpret sketches, mark-ups and technical documents.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to check drawings put together by the surveyors.
  • Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on delivery and meeting delivery schedules.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with plumbing or water supply/drainage drawings.
  • Familiarity with Legionella Risk Assessments or Water Hygiene projects is an advantage (training will be provided).
