Job Description

The Customer Engagement Sr. Manager, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations Excellence, plays a vital role in supporting the cross-franchise operational needs of Sobi North America. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Sponsorship Approval Process, managing Speaker Bureau Operations, and overall Congress management. This role requires strong relationship-building and strategic execution skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. With a focus on driving operational efficiency and optimization, this position offers a unique opportunity to influence meaningful change across the NA Sobi organization.

  • Sponsorship Approval Oversight
    • Manage the regional sponsorship process and external engagement process to ensure compliance and efficiency
    • Provide strategic vendor management to maintain system functionality and ensure sponsorships are executed and reconciled effectively
    • Oversee and participate in user training and refresher sessions to support process adherence.
  • Speaker Bureau Operations
    • Ensure strategic vendor management to align with cross-functional team expectations and operational excellence
    • Lead and launch the annual Speaker Bureau Initiation process, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with organizational goals
  • Congress Management
    • Project manage top-tier North America Sobi congresses, ensuring seamless execution
    • Provide strategic project management support for lower-tier congresses across various Therapeutic Areas
    • Manage vendor partnerships, ensuring effective coordination with booth/logistics vendors
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sobi NA Congress logistics and execution
  • Strategic Marketing Operations Support
    • Share industry best practices and innovative solutions with stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, implement best practices, and optimize processes

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech company, focus in Marketing Operations a plus
  • 5-8 years of experience working with advertising and promotional process
  • 5-8 years of experience in regulated operations environment
  • Congress management experience is strongly preferred
  • Solid project management experience
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional groups to achieve common goals
  • Solid ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders

 

 

Additional Information

The base salary pay range for this role is 133,000-185,000 USD annually. Actual pay for this position will take into account factors such as experience and location.  In addition to a base salary, this position is also eligible for a competitive 401k match, short and long-term incentives, medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD and life insurance benefits, in addition to other health and wellness programs and offerings.
