STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Mylar Set Up/ Re-work Operator to join the team. This position is responsible for the set-up of mylars, fixtures, and stands to inspect metal tubing or flexible hose assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sets up and maintains accurate mylar fixtures.
- Catalogs and retrieves special mylar tooling.
- Sets up and verifies mylars.
- Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces.
- Measures angular dimensions, radii, contours, clearances, thread lead, wall thickness, and other specifications. Performs a variety of quality tests per procedures.
- Holds stands and marks reference points to assist in layout.
- Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or tote.
- Detect and report defective equipment, materials and/or faulty operations to plant supervisor.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
