Bouchier is comprised primarily of Bouchier Contracting Ltd. and Bouchier Site Services Ltd., with its Head Office based in Fort McKay, Alberta and the Administrative Hub based in Fort McMurray. In operation since 1998, we provide a variety of services to the Athabasca Oil Sands Region and have a presence on many of the major Oil Sands Mine Sites. Bouchier is one of the leading First Nations companies within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo that provides construction, maintenance, and general site services.

As a Concrete Finisher, your duties may include the following:

• Levelling the top surface of freshly poured concrete on floors, walls, ceilings or sidewalks
• Operating a power vibrator to compress concrete
• Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete
• Waterproofing, damp-proofing and restoring concrete surfaces
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
• placement of concrete, use of power trowel, floats, screeds, hand tools, power tools, General carpentry knowledge. 
• Excellent knowledge of finishing concrete slabs, sidewalks, pouring sika grout products

• Min. 2 years’ experience in concrete finishing 
• Valid class 5 DL
• Ability to lift and pull up to 50 LBS
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Safety conscious attitude
• CSTS, OSSA Regional Orientation or BSO (Basic Safety Orientation)
• Ability to work crunching, kneeling, standing for long periods of time.
• Able to work with minimal supervision
