We are seeking a dynamic Junior Web Developer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will assist in building and maintaining websites, implementing new design features, and supporting various marketing initiatives. You will report to the Senior Manager of Web Development and be part of a two-person team within the Marketing Operations department. With a solid understanding of web technologies and a keen eye for design, you will help create user-friendly web experiences that enhance our online presence. You should have a passion for coding, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to contribute to impactful web solutions.

As a Junior Web Developer, you will:

  • Assist the web development team with all aspects of website and application design.

  • Implement new web features and design updates based on feedback and requirements from the marketing team.

  • Conduct testing and maintenance of backend and frontend applications.

  • Convert multimedia elements (video, audio, graphics) into web-compatible formats.

  • Monitor website performance and use user feedback to identify and correct issues.

  • Create HTML emails, manage content updates, and support other online marketing activities.

  • Integrate web forms and manage data collection for marketing campaigns.

  • Stay updated with the latest web development and digital marketing trends.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • At least 2-4  years of experience in web development.

  • Experience with Marketo and WordPress

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like Bootstrap.

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web service technologies (APIs, JSON).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Figma and experience with Knak and other WYSIWYG editors.

  • Experience with database management and SQL.

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Additional Information

We utilize a data-driven approach in order to remove biases in our decisions. The pay range for this role in the US is $75,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications. The listed pay range reflects the available annual salary budgeted for a new hire into this role. Employee salaries may extend above or below the listed range. Depending on level and location of hire, the role may be determined to be Exempt or Salaried Non-Exempt.
