Job Description

As a Product Operations Specialist you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our product management processes. You will collaborate closely with our Product Management team to drive improvement projects, facilitate customer feedback loops, oversee the product tech stack, and support the release process.  You will also work closely with colleagues in Product Marketing and Go To Market teams to ensure that customers receive the right messaging and that our products meet their needs effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess proven project management skills, ideally developed in a B2B Product Development environment ,  as well as superbly honed communication and collaboration skills. In addition, an ideal candidate will bring a knowledge of Product Management best practices and experience with tools like ProductBoard, Salesforce and other customer management tools.

What you'll deliver

  • Project Management: Lead and manage improvement projects aimed at optimising product operations and enhancing customer experiences. Develop and execute project plans, define project scope, set goals, and track progress. This includes projects both within the portfolio of product domains as well as centralised projects. 
  • Customer Feedback Loops: Establish and maintain efficient feedback loops with customers. Enable PMs to gather, analyse, and prioritise customer feedback efficiently to inform product development decisions and improvements.
  • Product Tech Stack Management: Oversee the product tech stack, ensuring that it is up-to-date, efficient, and aligned with the company's technology strategy. Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams on optimisation opportunities. 
  • Release Process Support: Work closely with the Product Management team to support the release process. Ensure that release schedules are met, and that customers receive clear and accurate messaging about product updates and changes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success/Support, to align product operations and improve overall product performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of project activities, feedback, and improvements. Create regular reports to communicate progress and results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years direct experience of both product and project management within a B2B SasS environment.  For example:
    • They are already in a Product Operations role and are looking for a fresh challenge or
    • They are a highly organised Product Manager who wants to move into an Operations role in order to drive change and improvements at scale
    • They are a Project Manager who has worked extensively with Product Managers within a broader Product Development team and are keen to get involved more closely with the Product team specifically.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with product management tools and technologies.
  • Previous experience in B2B SaaS would be ideal. 
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
