Job Description

An operations specialist works behind the scenes and supports the system-based workflows across the professional services team. They optimize, prioritize, and analyze to make sure nothing takes more time, money, or energy than necessary. They see to it that processes that depend on one another are completed in a timely manner, that all our systems are functional.

The Professional Services Operations Specialist role exists to ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of the team, globally. The operations specialist's responsibilities generally include supporting the systems our employees use in their daily duties, optimizing processes and procedures to achieve maximum efficiency, and investigating/resolving system issues.

Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

More specifically, we are looking for an operations specialist to support daily tasks in our PSA tool. PSA stands for Professional Services Automation. These tasks include but are not limited to: 

  • Creating and maintaining pipeline projects

  • Managing resourcing needs within the system

  • Using templates to create documentation that can be shared with team members

  • Documenting processes and making suggestions on how to improve upon them

  • Reaching out to team members to make updates in our systems that are not meeting timely or quality standards

  • Assisting with the implementation of new processes and procedures.

  • Identifying ways to improve customer experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience as an operations specialist or in a similar role.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Detail-oriented.
