Job Description

Our Legal department is looking to grow our team with the addition of new Corporate Counsel.  If you are passionate about software, already have professional experience in the software area, and want to join a fast-paced, agile startup environment – this is job for you! 

What you’ll deliver: 

  • Draft, review and negotiate customer, partner, supplier agreements, and other agreements as required
  • Continually review and update contracting templates to drive scalability and operational excellence in the Legal department
  • Create support documents for the sales team relating to legal topics (negotiation guides, etc.) 
  • Advise, support, and engage with our revenue and finance teams
  • Ensure product compliance with US laws
  • Any other legal deliverables as required

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales contracting
  • Software experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of key legal concepts and levers in negotiations
  • Solid understanding of privacy issues as it relates to software contracting
  • Highly responsive
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent legal and business judgment
  • Demonstrated capacity to actively solve complicated legal and business problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who can effectively engage with other members of the legal department and other groups
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Privacy compliance experience strongly preferred
