Job Description

As Director of FP&A - Revenue and Strategy, you will join a fast-growing Finance team of 14 people. In your role, you will own all revenue forecasting and long-range planning for SmartRecruiters. 

You will partner with the other members of the finance leadership team and you will help build a team of finance professionals inside the FP&A function.  You will partner with leadership across the go-to-market organization, including sales and marketing leadership, sales operations, and sales enablement to build bottoms-up models for revenue, ARR, and go-to-market costs. You will own the sales efficiency metrics, including CAC ratios, the efficiency of marketing spend, and LTV:CAC ratios. You will also be in charge of the company’s long-range models, including the financial evaluation of strategic decision-making. Finally, you will partner with the leadership team to collaborate on the building of the board of directors and investor presentations. This position will report to the CFO and have direct visibility to the CEO and the rest of the C-suite. 

What you’ll deliver: 

  • Long-range plan for the company, taking over an existing model and continually improving as the company evolves - in collaboration with the other finance leadership team members.  

  • Short-range detailed revenue and sales and marketing expenses forecast.

  • Partner with our accounting team to ensure revenue recognition is appropriately reflected in the financial system. 

  • Partnering with our sales and sales operations teams to evaluate commercial terms on new and add-on business. 

  • Variance analysis comparisons against budget and forecasts.

  • Reporting packages on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Board slides for relevant sections of the presentations.

  • Investor materials for relevant sections of the presentations.

  • M&A evaluation and modeling

  • Leadership of any direct team members, as well as a leadership status in the finance organization.

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in Finance or Accounting and equivalent practical experience of 10+  years; 

  • Experience managing a team inside a high-growth, and global, SaaS organization.

  • Netsuite experience or strong experience with other finance systems in multinational organisations will also be considered;

  • You have taken part in systems selection, implementation, and integration processes;

  • You are an expert in all things Finance. You do not need to be a CPA (or equivalent), but we expect you to have an excellent understanding of the financial flows and reporting of a software business;

  • You will evolve in a complex and international context with different needs/expectations. Your ability to engage with stakeholders and communicate accordingly is critical for your success;

  • You enjoy collaborating with an international team.

  • You are open to international travel and working with business partners and finance team members across the globe.
