Job Description

This Remote position can be based in either the USA or the EMEA region.

The SmartRecruiters Solutions Architects Director will mentor and grow a team of Solutions Architects with a philosophy of servant leadership. Your team is responsible for supporting a team of solution consultants, account executives, and account managers, by architecting compelling solutions to address a customer’s key Talent Acquisition challenges, and present a desired future state and deliver a competitive advantage with measurable outcomes.  You will also serve as the subject matter expert in talent acquisition and form great partnerships, both internally and externally, with customer success as the core focus.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skills in both B2B SaaS products and HR/recruiting processes,  as well as customer-facing skills that will enable you to represent SmartRecruiters well to internal and external stakeholders.  In addition, an ideal candidate will bring a good network to key technology influencers within the HR technology space. The ideal candidate should also have demonstrated the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

What you'll deliver

  • Lead a team of solution architects who will be responsible for delivering key technical strategic solutions for our customers, focusing on architecture, security, and privacy as key differentiators

  • Implement team operating rhythm and meeting cadence as channels for training, information sharing, and building team culture

  • Lead your team with a servant-style of leadership, modeling the appropriate values and behaviors that make team members successful

  • Lead a team that creates and maintains demo assets which include

    • Architecture and integration diagrams

    • Security RFPs

    • Privacy POVs and documentation

  • Be a conduit with Engineering to enable the following motions

  • Release readiness - Security and Privacy

  • Participating in selling to the enterprise

  • Work with other Pre-Sales Solution Consultant leaders to manage pre-sales alignment and support go-to-market activities

  • Keep current on industry trends and competition

  • Collaborate with other pre-sales leaders and sales enablement to develop enablement content for pre-sales continuous learning and improvement

  • Understand industry verticals, department verticals, and challenges facing specific buyer personas with SmartRecruiters’ target market and coach your team on industry-specific value propositions

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a solutions architect and 3 years experience leading a Pre-Sales team
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Emotional intelligence; ability to relate to those you lead

  • A proven change agent

  • Ability to successfully lead strategic projects

  • Ability to understand a track critical metrics and monitor team performance

  • Professional courage to challenge assumptions, propose solutions, and push teams to execute in a disciplined, but creative manner

  • Experience in process creation and operational execution

  • Experience working in a program and project environment
