Job Description

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Incentive Compensation & Procurement Analyst to assess every aspect of our daily business, with the goal of helping the organization operate more efficiently. In this role, you will examine existing and proposed incentive compensation plans as well as vendor relationships and look for opportunities for improvement, report common issues, evaluate company performance, and recommend new procedures. 

To excel in this position, you should be an experienced professional with knowledge of incentive compensation and vendor management techniques.

What you’ll deliver:

  • Manage the design and implementation of SmartRecruiters incentive compensation program.

  • Work with the Operations leadership team on the incentive plan design and delivery across the organization.

  • Partner with department heads on the effectiveness of incentive compensation plans.

  • Support adjacent teams with accurate reporting around performance metrics and compensation including sales, accounting, payroll, and human resources.

  • Develop and maintain clear documentation around plan performance and execution across the various entities of the organization.

  • Develop and negotiate long-term relationships with vendors, both existing and potential. 

  • Lead and manage the global sourcing strategies for assigned technology and related services across the company.

  • Identify cost savings and process improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with IT to select the company’s product and service providers, and manage procurement to reduce operational costs.

  • Maintain relationships with key vendors focused on creating value and growth.

  • Improve billing, audit, and financial operations in partnership with Finance.

  • Execute strategic sourcing, including RFX, negotiations, and contracting to supplier agreements. 

  • Coordinate the negotiation and execution of contracts with the Legal departments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Compensation Analyst 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or related function or equivalent work experience

  • Proven experience in the development of effective incentive and variable compensation programs

  • Advanced modeling and analysis experience with EXCEL

  • Experience partnering with business development leaders in pursuit of effective performance-driven incentive plan structure and rollout

  • Cost optimization opportunity analysis and advanced contract negotiation

  • Strategic sourcing and supplier management processes with an emphasis on Cloud and SaaS procurement

  • Strong presentation skill (ability to present to senior leadership)

  • Strong oral and written communication (report writing experience)

  • Use of Xactly or other incentive compensation tools is highly preferred
