This role will oscillate between 30,000 ft (ie: operating as the strategic business partner to our executives) to 3ft (ie: ensuring we’ve got complete and accurate contracts for all employees) touching every level in between. You would report to the Chief People Officer, and partner with your peers (Director of Hiring Success, and Director or Employee Experience), while managing a team of HRBPs spread across our regions.

Job Description

You will:

  • Coach, counsel and advise leadership on all people and organizational related issues to create insight and drive action

  • Work seamlessly alongside a highly motivated, and intense team of professionals

  • Partner with our management team to implement drive initiatives directly aligned to our business strategy in the areas of performance management, recognition, career development, organizational development, total rewards and employee relations

  • You would partner with the Director, Employee Experience, to collect needs from the business that the Employee Experience team will transform into insights, actions, or improvements

  • Provide compensation support including salary benchmarking, planning, and job leveling for all EMEA locations, partnering with the Comp&Ben team

  • Retain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and immigration requirements to ensure company remains compliant across multiple locations

  • Understand the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement

  • Manage all HR Administration as we begin to build our HR Service Centre

Qualifications

 

  • The most important qualification bar none is that you are Double IQ person (high EQ and high IQ) who loves to get #$#$ done and is thrilled to work for a company who is going to disrupt an industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience with a track record of achievement

  • Experience in working with senior leaders on strategic decision-making

  • Experience supporting a broad range of client groups including technical (engineering) required

  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling highly sensitive information

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on ensuring deadlines are met and accurate work product is completed
