Job Description

As a leader of our world-class marketing team, you’ll be driving user adoption of our product, a focus on net retention, and engaging content through creative, persona-targeted lifecycle & growth campaigns. You and the team will have the opportunity to design and deliver end-to-end messaging tracks centered around B2B customer journey milestones, spanning contract signature through account renewal and expansion with support from key stakeholders such as Enterprise Account Management, Customer Success, and Professional Services.

  • Lead a team of 3-4 marketers toward overachievement on critical KPIs tied to growth, net retention, gross retention, and satisfaction
  • Become an expert in the SmartRecruiters customer journey and create detailed flows including 1:many and programmatic communications to drive activation and adoption of key features, leading to improvement in product adoption KPIs and NPS
  • Define and implement measurable KPIs for lifecycle programs in partnership with Product and RevOps teams, iterating and optimizing on an ongoing basis 
  • Partner closely with product marketing, product management, customer success, and operations teams to ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of one-off and ongoing campaigns via email and in-product
  • Act as a critical liaison between marketing, GTM & R&D leadership specific to customer requirements, feedback, and adoption scorecards.
  • Support the creation of a meaningful pipeline of add-one opportunities in support our client sales function and customer success teams
  • Oversee the customer communications calendar, including designing and deploying email campaigns, positioning & messaging, developing in-product notifications, segmenting audience lists, and reporting
  • Build segmentation strategies to customize messaging to users based on key personas, behavioral data, and email engagement data, including in product and email channels.
  • Execute and analyze A/B test plans to improve engagement performance and conversion rates 
  • Collaborate with product marketing to develop new assets for each stage of the customer journey
  • Support the launch of new products through creative and aligned messaging
  • Bring customer success stories to the forefront with ongoing persona specific user groups, events, and thought leadership content
  • Establish and support cross-functional programs and processes that reinforce a cohesive customer journey

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in SaaS marketing with a preference for lifecycle management & customer experience marketing
  • Relevant experience using marketing automation technology (ideally Marketo) and Salesforce
  • Adept at mapping product usage behavior and feature conversion to account health metrics
  • Data driven, self-starter with an eye for building programs that scale.
  • Hands-on attitude and excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication & managerial skills
  • Track record of effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with product analytics tools a bonus
