Our team is looking for a Director of Accounting who will supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities in all SmartRecruiters entities. Working out of our Kraków office, you will manage our accounting team and report to the Director of Finance.

In this role, you will:

• Keep accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP and statutory regulations

• Cooperate with local accounting and payroll providers as needed

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports/statements

• Plan, organize and coordinate the year-end close process and financial audits

• Ensure timely completion of the company’s tax filings

• Manage Account Receivables and Account Payables functions

• Support Treasury and build strong relationships with our banks

• Help keep our accounting team up-to-date on the most recent accounting best practices, fulfilled in their roles, and excited about our company mission of connecting people to jobs at scale.

• 5+ years of GL experience in the position of Chief Accountant or equivalent (preferably in an international environment)

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, internal control and financial reporting

• Expertise in complex financial audits and due diligence process

• Experience in US financial environment and SaaS business is a plus

• Energetic, flexible and engaging personality, strong problem-solving attitude, excellent communication, and experience leading a team.
