Job Description

SmartRecruiters is looking for a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to create new and modern approaches to value-based selling and storytelling.

As a key player on a growing team, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will develop deep understanding of our customers, the recruiting (and business) ROI they’ve achieved since using our product, and the actions they took to get there.

In this highly visible role, you will work cross-functionally with our Customer Success (aka. “Hiring Success”), Product, Sales and Ops teams to improve knowledge-share and elevate strong customer ROI stories.

A sample of your projects and deliverables include: Case studies, use cases , ROI calculators, business cases, etc. (assets & tools focused on demonstrating business value from the customer’s perspective)

Key Responsibilities

  • Storytelling - Tell compelling business value stories about our customers across segments and industries, their achievements and use cases. Must be proficient with positioning, framing, and providing clear design direction, as well as self-sufficient in asset development.

  • Data Interpretation - Derive quantifiable impact, simple messaging from customer-product usage reports and customer interviews.

  • Asset / Tool Development - Build business value marketing assets (e.g., case studies, ROI calculators, etc.) to improve our ability to assist customers quantify business outcomes; track tool usage to iterate and drive alignment.

  • Competitive Intelligence - Improve close and win rates in deals by becoming an expert on what motivates customers towards change, as well as how we deliver more value vs our competitors

  • Sales Enablement - Partner with field enablement to help educate the field and increase internal Sales awareness on what’s available and how to apply the tools in the sales cycle.

Qualifications

  • You have 3-4 years experience in product marketing, business development, and/or management consulting
  • You are a convincing writer / storyteller
  • You are analytical, comfortable extracting key points from data that support and validate your story
  • You are adaptable, can quickly grasp different sales processes and how best to partner with sales on scaling winning formulas
  • You are inquisitive about customer pain points and product solutions
  • You are a critical thinker and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Background in HR Tech and/or B2B SaaS preferred, but not required
  • Bonus: You can build basic financial models
