We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join SmartDev. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, supplier payments, compliance with accounting standards, and effective cash disbursement planning. You will collaborate with internal teams, overseas stakeholders, and vendors to support the company's global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper authorization and supporting documentation.
• Match invoices with Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, and other supporting documents where applicable.
• Perform regular reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Update and maintain vendor master data, payment terms, and banking information.
• Process employee expense claims and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
• Prepare payment proposals and ensure timely settlement to domestic and overseas suppliers.
• Coordinate with banks to execute payments and resolve payment-related issues.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations for payment transactions.
• Prepare payment schedules and provide payment forecasts to support cash flow planning.
• Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including preparing AP-related journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations.
• Supporting schedules for management reporting and audits.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure the efficiency of process and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with company expense policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and applicable tax regulations.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, internal controls and finance automation.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within multinational or IT/software companies.
• Experience with accounting system.
• Good understanding of Accounts Payable processes, accounting principles.
• Experience handling overseas vendor payments and multi-currency transactions is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Can communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
