About the team

“Mo’ money, Mo’ problems” - well, not really. In fact, “Mo’ money, mo’ calculations” and “Mo’ calculations, Mo’ geniuses”. If you feel a rage coming in whenever someone uses a calculator - we’re looking for your kin. Needless to say, the Finance team makes sure everything money runs smooth and butter.

About the role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for daily accounting tasks to support the finance team. You will work on accounting of invoices, bank reconciliations, and monthly closures.

What You will do

  • Support the team with Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensure proper accounting of disbursals and repayments on periodic basis and align balances with LMS
  • Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements on daily basis.
  • Managing data and ensuring book closure for audit/monthly closures
  • Liaising with cross functional teams for invoicing, reconciliations, etc
  • Helping treasury team for functional activities
  • Helping teams in statutory audits or any other ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications

What you will need

  • An educational background in commerce or related field.
  • 1-3 Years of relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge on Oracle
  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
