The Compliance Associate will be responsible for supporting the Compliance manager in planning and coordinating implementation of compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, RBI master directions and Vendor Security assessments. 

The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who has exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact proactively with employees and leadership at all levels. The person in this role will need to be highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

What You will do

• Evaluate slice's security infrastructure and document information security policies, processes, and technical controls.
• Conduct vendor due diligence assessments, to Identify information security weaknesses and gaps through interviews, questionnaires, documentation reviews, and technical assessments
• Communicate security findings and recommendations effectively.
• Modify and amend existing slice documentation based on industry standards, best practices, and compliance to regulatory requirements such as RBI, PCI DSS, IT Act etc. as necessary
• Collect and assess evidence from all slice assessments.
• Participate and assist compliance manager for security aspects, during their internal and external audits.
• Perform security risk assessments of information systems and infrastructure.
• Create detailed risk assessment reports which explain identified security weaknesses, describe potential business risks, present recommendations, and estimate costs and effort levels for remediation
• Conduct various security trainings and presentations for our company.
• Maintain various security dashboards, security calendar, security metrics, etc.
• To continuously improve on their knowledge around information security as it relates to their job and identifying and preventing phishing attempts.
   

• Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
• Minimum 3-4 years of technical experience in Information Security area.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with information security internal & external audits, governance and risk management
• Experience working with common information security standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, ITIL and COBIT
• Knowledge of security areas such as Auditing, Policy, Database Security, Firewall Design and Implementation, Risk Analysis, Identity Management, Vulnerability Management, Penetration testing, Access/Entitlements Management, or Web Services is very desirable
• Experience researching, designing, implementing and supporting information security
• Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
• Remain vigilant while continuing to maintain and enhance the overall security of slice and the client’s receiving our services.
• Maintain awareness about the potential risks based on the business requirements they are operating in.
