Job Description

. In this position, you will collaborate with multiple departments to develop necessary accounting and financial reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.  Additional job details are listed below:

  • Maintain financial reports, records and general ledger accounts
  • Prepare journal entries, analysis and participating in the monthly close processes
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Respond to information requests and reviewing financial statements
  • Support the annual financial audit and other state and local regulatory requirements
  • Document new processes or procedures and update existing standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner to achieve the overall objectives of this position
  • Keep immediate manager promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • BSc/HND in Accounting or relevant field.
  • Professional qualification in Accounting is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and analytical skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Company Accountant Role.
  • Sound experience in the use of Accounting and financial report software, e.g SAP
  • Highly computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel and Power BI)
  • Demonstrable leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect other colleagues regarding all accounting matters
  • Good Creative and Innovative skills
