Job Description
*This position can be based in different cities in Germany/Austria. The location is only a reference, not mandatory.
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the operations and sales of a specific district within a group of stores.
Tasks include recruiting, staffing, developing, training, coaching and supervising employees within budgeted goals and expectations.
Motivate store team to generate sales, focus on customer services, work ethics and company policies/procedures.
Drive top line sales in the district.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute annual sales forecast based on your districts strategies.
Develop team on product knowledge, greeting customers, professionalism and fashion.
Manage day-to-day operations by ensuring all company policies/procedures, store wages, overtime, scheduling, sales goals are controlled and meet applicable goals.
Teach staff how to drive sales to the fullest potential.
Communicate, execute and follow-up on all departmental directives, marketing/visual and promotional initiatives.
Train managers on scheduling, overtime, time & attendance issues to ensure adequate staffing based on business trend/seasonal adjustments within wage goal/budget.
Develop manager’s product knowledge, brand recognition, selling off the wall, customer service standards, sales standards/conversions, merchandising standards and all company policies/procedures.
Responsible for districts exceeding comp sales (where applicable) and sales plan by training and coaching employees to focus on increased multiple pair selling in each multiple location.
Monitor profit and loss performance and implement corrective measures to improve profitability.
Responsible for payroll goals, shrink reduction, conversion, UPT and average dollar transaction.
Supervise employees by enforcing policies/procedures, safety, documenting disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, reporting incidents to Human Resources/Management and preparing related documentation.
Ensure each assigned store’s visual standards are met, the proper mix and proper depth in key SKU’s and by identifying store’s needs by using and analysing vendor sales reports and/or altering sales floor layouts (displays) and making recommendations.
Find new and exciting ways to attract customers by reviewing promo sign packages and making recommendations.
Extensive travel within District/Region.
Supervisory Responsibility
Communicate with Store Managers/RM through weekly conference calls, individual follow-up calls, written communication, and one on one communication through store visits.
Assess and lead talent recruitment, hiring, developing and retention to attain the best team in the right job and the right location.
Mentor and develop key performers to be ready for promotion within one year.
Present a professional image in appearance, words and action.
Build a positive team relationship, demonstrate ethical behaviour.
Train staff on safety guidelines.
Manage all supervisory functions including training on managerial duties.
Review sales weekly and make recommendations to correct deficiencies.
Partner with HR on personnel issues.
Additional Responsibilities
Other duties as necessary to maintain store’s daily operations, new store openings, special sales/promotional events and teaching selling off the wall.
Prepare monthly business analysis, including quarterly business reviews and other reports as directed.

Fluent in both English and German
Numerate with an eye for detail
Good knowledge of MS Office
Intermediate/advanced Excel skills

Exceptionally well organised and efficient
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Experience in retail would be an advantage
