Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in electrical maintenance activities under supervision.
- Support execution of preventive maintenance (PM) for electrical systems.
- Help in attending minor electrical breakdowns and learning troubleshooting.
- Assist in maintenance of motors, panels, starters, cables, lighting systems, and basic instrumentation.
- Carry out basic wiring, connections, and terminations as instructed.
- Support checking of voltage, current, and continuity using basic instruments (multimeter, tester).
- Follow instructions during installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Maintain daily activity logs / maintenance records.
- Strictly follow electrical safety practices (LOTO, PPE, permit system).
- Ensure proper housekeeping of panels, tools, and work area.
- Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components.
- Knowledge of motors, starters, and panels (basic level).
- Familiar with use of electrical tools and measuring instruments.
- Strong safety awareness and discipline.
- Willingness to learn and work in shift/plant environment.
- Teamwork and ability to follow instructions.
Qualifications
ITI Electrician trade- Fresher
