Job Description
- Develop and manage short-, mid-, and long-term production plans
- Optimize production schedules based on customer demand forecasts and sales projections
- Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery performance
- Manage raw material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory optimization
- Analyze production performance and drive productivity improvement initiatives
- Establish, monitor, and report production KPIs to management
- Lead and manage production teams and shop-floor operations
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales departments
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct capacity planning and support production expansion initiatives
- Lead S&OP activities to align demand forecasts with production capabilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Production Planning and Production Control within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in Master Production Scheduling (MPS) development and execution
- Strong experience in production performance analysis, productivity improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
- Hands-on experience in raw material planning, inventory management, and supply planning
- Experience managing production KPIs, including productivity, yield, OEE, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery performance
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent
- Experience in workforce planning, shop-floor management, and team leadership
- Proven ability to develop production plans based on customer demand forecasting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Information
We are looking for a Production Manager to manage our epoxy, adhesive etc., manufacturing process in Korea. This position includes managing human and material resources for the liquide production process at our Gunsan plant, and is responsible for safety, productivity, and personnel attendance.
