Job Description

We are looking for a Finance & Tax Specialist to join our Finance team. 

This role will support accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal control processes while ensuring full alignment with local regulations and Sika Group standards. The position plays a key role in strengthening financial transparency and supporting business performance. 

  • Prepare and review tax declarations (VAT, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.) in compliance with Turkish tax legislation 

  • Monitor changes in local tax regulations and assess their impact on the company 

  • Support statutory and group financial reporting processes 

  • Ensure compliance with Sika internal guidelines, policies, and internal control standards 

  • Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities when required 

  • Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities 

  • Support tax audits and respond to official inquiries 

  • Contribute to process improvements and digitalization initiatives within Finance 

  • Collaborate closely with local and regional finance teams 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and tax functions, preferably in a multinational environment 

  • Hands-on experience with Netsis ERP is mandatory  

  • Strong knowledge of Turkish tax legislation and financial reporting 

  • Experience with SAP and MS Excel is an advantage 

  • CPA (SMMM) certification or progress toward certification is preferred 

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken 

  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities 

  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 

  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work in a global matrix organization
