About the role
As a Solution Architect – Professional Services, you will play a key role in delivering successful customer implementations by translating business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions within the Shippeo platform. This customer-facing role combines business consulting, solution architecture, and technical configuration to help customers optimize their supply chain operations.
Operating within a structure of "leadership without authority," you will excel at coordinating across five cross-functional squads to ensure seamless project execution. You will serve as the primary technical contact for our customers, orchestrating value from the pre-sales phase straight through to project handover.
Please Note: This role is based in Bangalore, India requiring 3 days per week in the office. As we operate internationally, we kindly request all candidates to submit their CV in English.

Function: Professional Services & Solution Architecture
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate synergistically across 5 cross-functional squads, utilizing strong communication to align technical delivery with business objectives.
Solution Advisory: Lead customer workshops to understand complex business processes, gather structural requirements, and map out optimal workflow designs.
Platform Configuration: Build and configure the platform using sophisticated no-code capabilities, establishing robust data models, automations, and custom workflows.
End-to-End Technical Ownership: Manage the customer technical journey from pre-sales scoping, flowchart validation, and build, to the final engineering handover.
Project & Task Management: Highly autonomous tracking of your own project timelines, proactively forecasting and flattening task structures to ensure predictable delivery.
Testing & Validation: Partner closely with Quality Assurance (QA) teams, orchestrating successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and driving hypercare go-live activities.
Voice of the Customer: Turn real-world configuration challenges into valuable feedback loops, collaborating directly with Product and Engineering teams for long-term platform optimization.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years as a Solution Architect, Functional Consultant, or in a similar customer-facing implementation role within enterprise SaaS.
System Design Mastery: Proven capability in core system design, with an intuitive knack for navigating complex software architectures.
Technical Benchmarks: Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or complex SAP configuration environments (such as SD, MM, TM, EWM), which serves as a highly relevant proxy for mastering our architecture.
Autonomy & Communication: A highly autonomous, self-directed professional who thrives in managing difficult customer conversations, balancing stakeholder expectations with resilience and care.
Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
Preferred (Not Required)
Logistics Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an excellent asset.
Technical Toolsets: Basic familiarity with SQL, JSON, XML, or workflow scripting tools.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile delivery practices and tools like Jira.

Recruitment Process
Our hiring process balances efficiency and strict quality assessment across 3 consolidated phases:
Preliminary Call: An initial screening with our Talent Acquisition Manager to review alignment on core skills and profile expectations.
Technical Assessment: A two-part evaluation consisting of a short system design assignment followed by a live configuration session to review real-time platform navigation, logical thought processes, and problem-solving capabilities. (Note: AI usage during preparation is acceptable as long as you can confidently explain your logic and prompt choices ).
Behavioral & Management Interview: A deep-dive session focused on your soft skills, structured communication, leadership capabilities, and past project management milestones.
