📈 Your opportunity :

In a context of strong and international growth, we are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. The current team includes 4 SRE focused on infrastructure & platform reliability.  They aim to provide ready-to-dev platforms, so everyone can easily and quickly deploy things, without bothering with the infrastructure.

🚀🚀 What you will do :

• Run our infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform

• Ensure that our Product is scalable, resilient, fault tolerant and aligned with our business requirements

• Improve the observability of the platform by rethinking what we need to monitor 

• Ensure that we monitor and alert on symptoms, and not only on outages

• Use your on-call shift to prevent incidents from ever happening

• Improve the deployment process to make it maintainable and performant

• Debug production issues across the whole technical ecosystem

• Help plan the growth of Shippeo’s infrastructure.

• Develop pragmatic solutions without over-engineering, and choose simple, straightforward solutions over more complex ones

💼 Your experience :

• Minimum experience of 3 years in Senior Site Reliability Engineer 

• Must have experience with containerised application technologies including Docker and Kubernete

• Hands-on experience with a public cloud provider (GCP, AWS or Alibaba)

• Familiarity with Git, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, EventStore, Github actions

• Hands-on experience with administration, tuning and performance optimization of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Must have experience with a fully automated CI/CD pipeline

• Experience in infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible

• Excellent proficiency in French and in English
