Job Description
Brightsight is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its global Project Management organization.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating customer projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that scope, planning, resources, budgets, timelines, and customer expectations are effectively managed. You will work with international customers and multidisciplinary teams across Brightsight's global organization.
A distinctive aspect of project execution at Brightsight is the close collaboration between the Project Manager (PM) and the Lead Evaluator (LE). Together, they lead the execution of projects, combining project coordination and technical leadership to ensure successful delivery and high-quality evaluation services.
Location: Delft (Netherlands), Barcelona (Spain) or Meyreuil (France)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously from assignment through project closure.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting.
- Monitor project progress, risks, budgets, and milestones.
- Act as the primary operational contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Lead Evaluators to align project execution and technical activities.
- Coordinate resources and ensure effective communication across project teams.
Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed commitments, quality and scheme requirements.
Support improvements in project management processes and ways of working.
Qualifications
Your Profile
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a technical, engineering, certification, or regulated environment.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Customer-focused and collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Based within the European Union.
- Experience in cybersecurity, certification, aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries.
- Experience working with technical experts and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with security evaluation or conformity assessment activities.
Additional Advantage
Due to the expected Galileo and Aerospace project portfolio, preference will be given to EU-based candidates who already hold an EU Secret clearance (or equivalent security clearance). Candidates with previous experience working in secure or classified environments are particularly encouraged to apply.
