Job Description

We are seeking confident and engaging Trainers and Assessors to support training delivery across Newcastle, Mount Thorley, the Hunter, Upper Hunter and Central Coast.

This is a casual or subcontractor opportunity, offering flexibility to suit professionals looking to complement their existing work or take on additional training engagements. Training may be delivered at SGS facilities, client sites and other locations across the region.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver engaging accredited and non-accredited training in classroom, virtual and on-site environments.
  • Prepare sessions, assess competency and provide practical learner support.
  • Maintain accurate training and assessment records in line with RTO requirements.
  • Contribute to resource development, validation, audits and continuous improvement.
  • Share your subject matter expertise while promoting safe, inclusive and professional learning.

Qualifications

What we expect from you:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications, licences and current industry competency for the courses you deliver.
  • Experience delivering VET programs and competency-based assessment.
  • Strong communication, organisation and digital literacy skills.
  • A current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between SGS locations and client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
