Job Description
- Strategic Business Partnering and Consulting: Close collaboration with management (e.g., COOs, business unit CFOs) to interpret financial results. Translating complex technical data into business-friendly recommendations (Visual Storytelling) and providing insights that support key decisions
- Advanced Planning and Modeling: Coordinating the entire budget cycle or rolling forecasts for selected markets and divisions. Building, developing, and testing complex financial models (e.g., in Anaplan or Excel) and performing scenario analyses ("what-if") to assess risk and identify market opportunities
- Expert Analysis and Cost Management: Conducting in-depth root-cause analysis for deviations from budget assumptions. Managing advanced internal billing and cost allocation models (e.g., chargeback)
- Risk Management, Control, and Optimization: Coordinating risk management and internal control activities for the GBS center and affiliates. Promoting digitalization, process automation, and ensuring high-quality management reporting (data governance)
- Mentoring and Leadership: Working with a high degree of autonomy and acting as a mentor to junior analysts on the team. Creating and supporting training programs and sharing expert knowledge within the organization.
Qualifications
- Professional experience: 4 to 6+ years of experience in FP&A, financial controlling, external auditing (e.g., Big 4), or transaction advisory services is required. Proven experience working in international structures (matrix organization) and within a GBS/SSC model is also essential
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, econometrics, or quantitative methods
- Expert-level MS Excel: Ability to build multidimensional financial models, handle advanced macroeconomic simulations, and assess risk
- Advanced knowledge of ERP and EPM systems: Proficiency in working with the financial modules of SAP (including S/4HANA) or Oracle systems , as well as practical knowledge of planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC)
- BI tools at the "Developer" level: Advanced data modeling in Power BI or Tableau is required, including knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and building data flow structures
- Solid financial knowledge: A deep understanding of international financial standards (IFRS or US GAAP) and the relationships between financial statements. Experience with global cost allocation mechanisms (e.g., chargeback models) is also required
- Business acumen to link operational metrics with financial results.
Proficiency in "Data Storytelling" – convincingly presenting conclusions to non-financial audiences.
Ability to lead projects and act as a mentor for junior team members (Lateral Leadership).
- Leadership and Business Partnering competencies: * Ability to assertively manage stakeholders, including executive leadership (CFOs, operational directors)
- English language (C1/C2 level): Full fluency allowing for comfortable delivery of presentations, business negotiations, and preparation of formal analyses
- Business travel: Readiness for business trips (around 15%).
