Job Description
Role overview and scope
The Country President Finland is a full CEO-equivalent role with comprehensive responsibility for Securitas’ Finnish operations. The role carries end-to-end accountability for strategy, performance and leadership across all legal entities Securitas Oy, Securitas Palvelut Oy and Securitas Events Oy, ensuring a coherent market approach, strong governance and effective collaboration across service lines and business models. A close and seamless collaboration with Securitas Technology Oy is crucial for maximising synergies between technology and services.
Reporting line and matrix leadership
Reporting to the COO, North-West Europe, the Country President is a core member of leadership community and acts as both a national business leader and a contributor to wider divisional and group priorities. The role requires the ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment, balancing strong local ownership with alignment to global strategy, transformation initiatives and shared operating models.
Mandate and key priorities
The mandate extends beyond managing the current business. The Country President is expected to lead Securitas Finland through a decisive transition phase – moving from prolonged market pressure toward sustainable, structurally stronger and more differentiated growth. This includes:
Setting a clear strategic direction for the Finnish market, aligned with group and divisional priorities while tailored to local customer needs and market dynamics.
Driving commercial focus and growth, with particular emphasis on customer centricity, long-term partnerships and higher-value integrated solutions.
Accelerating and embedding service–technology integration, ensuring that technology is not a parallel offering but an integral part of service delivery, solution design and go-to-market models.
Strengthening financial and operational performance, including profitability, cost discipline, cash flow management and the continued development of reporting, business intelligence and decision-support capabilities.
People leadership and succession
A central element of the role is people and leadership responsibility. The Country President leads the Finnish executive team and has full accountability for leadership effectiveness, talent development and succession planning across the organisation. With two executive team members expected to retire in the coming years, the role offers a tangible opportunity to renew and shape the leadership team organically over time, building a future-oriented leadership structure that supports strategic priorities, cultural development and long-term performance.
Culture, engagement and change leadership
The Country President is also expected to act as a visible, values-driven leader, reinforcing engagement, trust and stability following recent organisational adjustments. Employee experience, leadership quality and cultural continuity are critical success factors as the business moves back into a growth-oriented phase.
External representation and stakeholder influence
Beyond internal leadership, the role carries a strong external and societal dimension. The Country President represents Securitas Finland in key industry and employer forums and plays an active role in important stakeholder and advocacy organisations such as Palta and SVLL. These roles are integral to influencing industry development, supporting employer representation and positioning Securitas as a responsible, forward-looking leader within the Finnish security and services landscape.
Leadership in a highly regulated operating environment
It needs to be noted, that the role is leading a business that operates in a highly regulated and closely supervised environment. Securitas Finland delivers services that fall under several critical regulatory frameworks. As a result, the Country President is accountable for ensuring that all operations meet strict legal, licensing and compliance requirements, and that governance, risk management and ethical standards are embedded in daily leadership and decision-making. This includes engaging proactively with authorities, anticipating regulatory developments and ensuring that compliance supports – rather than restricts – commercial and operational excellence.
