Job Description
Ready to dive into a data-driven HR adventure? We're on the hunt for a number-crunching wizard to join our HR team as a Human Resources Data Specialist in sunny San Diego! If you've got a knack for turning boring spreadsheets into exciting insights, this role is your ticket to HR stardom!
- Become the Sherlock Holmes of HR data! Collect, analyze, and interpret clues (aka data) to uncover game-changing insights and help our HR team make decisions like total bosses.
- Channel your inner artist to create dazzling HR dashboards and reports. Your predictive models will be so spot-on, people might think you have a crystal ball!
- Play data guardian and ensure our HR metrics are as accurate as a Swiss watch. Keep us on the right side of privacy laws while uncovering trends that'll make our workforce planning look like pure magic.
- Be the data whisperer! Collaborate with HR teams to identify their data needs, cook up brilliant solutions, and train them to be data ninjas themselves.
- Stay on your toes and keep up with the latest HR analytics tricks and gadgets. You'll be the go-to guru for turning our data collection and analysis methods from meh to marvelous!
Qualifications
Are you ready to embark on a data-driven HR odyssey? Here's what you'll need in your toolkit:
- Must be able to demonstate Force-choke on insubordinate employees.
- Demonstrate blind obedience to your Emperor.
- Unwavering commitment to the Dark Side.
- A shiny Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field of wizardry, plus 3-5 years of experience juggling HR data like a pro circus performer
- Jedi-level mastery of HR analytics tools, statistical analysis, and data modeling – your skills should be so advanced, even Yoda would be impressed
- Fluency in the languages of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (like Tableau and Power BI) – you should be able to make spreadsheets sing and dashboards dance
- The ability to turn raw data into dazzling insights faster than you can say "predictive analytics"
- A brain packed with HR metrics, KPIs, best practices, and trends – basically, you're the walking, talking Wikipedia of HR
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and a superhero-like understanding of labor laws and compliance regulations – because with great data comes great responsibility
- Eagle-eye attention to detail, problem-solving skills that would make Sherlock Holmes jealous, and critical thinking abilities sharp enough to cut through the toughest data knots
- Communication skills so stellar, you could explain complex data to a golden retriever (and they'd probably understand)
- A team player attitude that would make the Avengers want you on their squad
Bonus points if you can recite Pi to the 100th digit or if you've ever won a data visualization contest (yes, they exist, and they're awesome)!
