What will your role be? 

We are looking for a  Electro-Optical System Engineer  to perform the following activities: 

  • Product systems engineer, acting as technical reference for the entire sensor life cycle.
  • Defining the technical requirements specifications for electro-optical and video systems (EO/IR sensors, visible, thermal and SWIR cameras) for defence system applications.
  • Defining the system architecture, ensuring the required optical, electronic and video processing performance.
  • Coordinate the development team's work by planning and/or managing the project backlog following an assessment of the best development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
  • Support integration, testing and validation activities in the laboratory and in the field.
  • Analyse and resolve issues relating to performance, image quality and system reliability.
  • Draft and maintain technical documentation (system specifications, design reviews, test reports).
  • Support technological innovation for the study of new solutions, drafting technical proposals and commercial offers.
  • Provide support in the marketing field as a technical system expert.

Qualifiche

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies 

  • Master's degree in Engineering or technical disciplines.
  • Theoretical knowledge in the field of command and control, fire control radar and optical aiming sensors.
  • Proven experience in the field of tracking systems and control loops.
  • Experience in technical support in programme management and in coordinating customers and suppliers

  • Ability to coordinate an interdisciplinary development team.

Languages: 

  • Italian (Fluent) 
  • English (fluent, oral and written)
