Senior Domain Advisor – Cloud Architecture for RISE with SAP and Business Data Cloud (Middle and Eastern Europe)
- Full-time
- Compensation: EUR 51300 - EUR 107600 - yearly
Job Description
What you'll do
As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for the private cloud technical foundation of RISE with SAP and Business Data Cloud (BDC) engagements. Your mandate spans the initial sales cycle, change requests, and renewal events. You will advise customers and internal account teams on SAP's private cloud offerings, assess the technical feasibility of requirements, and translate these into landscape designs handed over to delivery teams for system provisioning.
What you bring
You bring expertise in the operational and technical aspects of running SAP solutions in a cloud environment, including data center capabilities such as high availability and disaster recovery. You have a solid grasp of the full platform stack — storage, virtualization, hardware, and networks — as well as SAP technologies and platform interdependencies. Knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a benefit, and a background in cybersecurity and compliance is an advantage. You have an affinity for technical topics, a customer-facing mindset with 5 or more years of experience, and work equally well independently and as part of a team. Fluency in German and English is required; any additional language is an asset.
Where you belong
Cloud Architecture & Advisory is part of the Global Cloud Operations (GCO) organization, which develops the SAP Private Cloud portfolio and operates most RISE with SAP private cloud landscapes and BWs for Business Data Cloud. The Cloud Architects & Advisors validate the technical feasibility of RISE with SAP S/4HANA and BDC Private Cloud deals during presales and serve as trusted advisors post-signature — ensuring customers receive landscapes that match their requirements and driving adoption of SAP's cloud offering.
