Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic technical professional to lead system level test solution development and product qualification for advanced NAND technologies. This role will drive cross-functional collaboration, define test strategies, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective product delivery aligned with customer expectations and business objectives.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Define and own test strategy, flow design, test platform bringup(ATE) and qualification that delivers quality and cost targets
  • Understand product and marketing requirement and extract relevant items for production test design
  • Coordinate and ensure proper test coverage to meet the products’ target DPPM, through all phases of product development, working as an interface with various functional teams like NAND technology development, Design, Device, QA, Firmware, Validation, Operations and Manufacturing teams
  • Lead data analysis, iterative test flow and production process enhancements, debug activities towards Yield improvement objectives
  • Lead RMA Failure Analysis activities, provide clear direction to team members for issue resolution,  drive root cause analysis and corrective actions with appropriate functional owners
  • Build and support scalable test software infrastructure to enable automation and AI assisted flows
  • Develop methodologies to deliver ATE test programs, validation and debug activities
  • Develop DFT techniques and test diagnostics to enable enhanced test coverage at system level through FW
  • Provide clear and regular communication of technical product status, risks, and mitigation strategies across the global org and other cross functional organizations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) with 8+ years of experience in memory, or system-level product or test engineering or a related overlapping profile
  • Proven experience applying extensive knowledge of Product Engineering, Product Development, and trim development and NAND performance/reliability optimization
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills,  to provide guidance to multi-functional, global teams, to resolve sensitive or difficult issues
  • Ability to lead and direct a team, make quick decisions in complex situations, quick learner with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of PCIe, System Architecture, ASIC and clear fundamentals of NAND flash operation at device level
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle and qualification processes for semiconductors
  • Experience with DFT techniques,  Data Analysis tools, scripting languages preferably Python, C, C++
  • Hands-on experience in system and memory testing, including failure analysis using tools such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers etc

Preferred:

  • Preferred experience with developing or debugging DRAM, PCIe, HBM devices
  • Preferred experience with generative and agentic AI tools

  • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.  This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.  Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
