Job Description
Reporting to Manager, Software Development the Lead Frontend Developer serves the business by leading frontend Ecommerce development. This developer will serve as a leader and mentor to other developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest stands of user experience and performance.
Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support in project execution.
- Drive the architecture and technical decisions for frontend projects, selecting the right technologies and frameworks.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and performant code while adhering to coding standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in frontend development.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Continuously monitor and improve frontend, security, and accessibility
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Lead Ecommerce development including, but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- React Expertise: In-depth knowledge of React, including state management, component lifecycle, hooks, and advanced concepts like context and portals.
- JavaScript Mastery: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6 and ES7 features. A good understanding of JavaScript design patterns is also essential.
- Build Tools: Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and ESLint to configure and optimize the development environment.
- API Integration: Skills in integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL into React applications, handling asynchronous requests and data manipulation.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (Webpack, Babel)
- Experience with backend development and APIs is a plus.
- Proven experience as a frontend developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization and responsive design
