Job Description

Summary:

The Ecommerce Marketing team is looking for a Sr. Manager of Digital Product with a passion for the customer and building an exceptional user experience to focus on rue21 digital experiences. In this fast-growing team, you must be a self-starter and able to achieve business goals. This person will be responsible for the measurement and improvement of our customer journey and cart to conversion funnels. While managing 3rd party relationships, this person will have the mindset to see their projects through, make recommendations, and explain the ROI for what is happening.

Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize market research, customer surveys, and web analytics data to understand customer needs, discovering competitive and functional gaps and identifying new opportunities to ultimately define a product road-map
  • Stay up to date on Mar-tech and Ad-tech stack and understand evaluate the eco-system with recommendations
  • Connect digital product technology to ROI
  • Manage 3rd party relationships
  • Evaluate tools at all points in times and understand their capabilities
  • Support the product development life-cycle for the rue21 website, including writing and prioritizing user stories for feature development, creating wireframes, triaging bugs, leading User Acceptance Testing, and completing post-launch analysis
  • Work closely with IT, development, and other cross-functional teams to successfully execute and deliver on initiatives
  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization to share priorities, roadmap, and key learnings, serving as an expert on eCommerce, web functionality, and online consumer behavior
  • Complete all projects and related duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years' eCommerce product management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to improve conversion rate
  • Demonstrated experience managing features from concept to launch
  • Ability to think strategically and exhibit strong business acumen 
  • Distinctive problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends to create actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and data into requirements
  • Technical understanding of web applications and website UI design
  • Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Background in mobile eCommerce in a retail environment is a plus
  • Proven ability to work with and influence senior management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field
