Job Description

Summary:

As a Planning Analyst you support the achievement of company objectives and financial goals through analysis and support of the merchandise planning function.

Responsibilities:

  • Support merchandise planning function with the development and improvement of all business tools and reporting
  • Analyze and track promotional events for key learning and recommendations, and maintain documentation and calendars
  • Ad hoc data mining, analysis and projects based on current business needs
  • Establish collaborative relationships with cross functional partners.  (buying, planning, IT/BI, store operations, marketing)
  • Train for back up for two critical department roles
  • Locate and define process improvement opportunities and best practices within the department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required
  • Advanced Excel, and data query skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Retail or analytics experience preferred
