Job Description
The Regional Visual Manager at rue21 successfully drives brand loyalty by ensuring exceptional customer experience through a well-merchandised, visually engaging, brand appropriate store environment. The Regional Visual Manager (RVM) ensures the integrity of rue21 through the consistent execution of merchandising direction in the field. The RVM has a strong partnership with multiple Regional Directors to align on company initiatives. They lead the District Managers in developing strategies to deliver well merchandised and visually engaging stores that meet the needs of the business. The RVM provides training, leadership, guidance and inspiration to the Regional and District Management team.
Ensures District Managers (DM’s) and the regional teams understand the brand aesthetic; reinforces company goals and objectives at the store, district and regional level
Guides and develops the DM team in translating corporate direction to meet the needs of their business and/or store architectural challenges
Communicates and informs District Managers on visual opportunities and initiatives; solicits and provides feedback
Works cross-functionally to ensure the brand presentation expectation is consistently actionable for the stores
Conducts store visits to ensure understanding, compliance, and execution of merchandising and visual standards
Conduct group visual training sessions focused on company needs & initiatives
Communicates effectively, both written and verbally to store teams and business partners

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of retail management experience, including visual merchandising
Willing and able to travel to the market as needed, up to 90% including overnight stays
Able to problem solve to find solutions to complex issues and can anticipate consequences
Ability to build relationships, influence at all levels, and make decisions cross-functional in a matrix organization where speed is crucial
Demonstrates attention to detail in creation of processes and monitors implementation to ensure proper execution
Able to lead through significant change and transformation to move an organization forward
