Job Description

The Mailroom Associate will assist with all mailroom functions including mail distribution, office supplies, postage machine maintenance, general building maintenance, and mailroom organization.

  • Work with FedEx as it relates to all mailroom functions
  • Track and resolve all missing and not delivered mail packs and general package issues
  • Monitor and repair/resolve all general maintenance issues in the Support Center
  • Manage office vendor relationship with Staples and order and replenish supplies as required
  • Sort and deliver all incoming mail
  • Log in all overnight and FedEx packages
  • Deliver outgoing mail to the post office
  • Insure that all store and field personal mail packs are sent and received as scheduled
  • Sort and deliver all interoffice memos to appropriate departments

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • One+ year general mailroom experience
  • ADA
  • Lifting boxes 50 lbs or more
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging feedback and innovation
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment
