Performing clerical duties in relation to the operation of the front office at the Distribution Center

Responsibilities

  • Perform Reception duties

  • Answering phones and greeting and directing visitors in a pleasant professional manner

  • Filing and maintaining FEDEX Claims

  • Responding to store and internal communications in a professional manner

  • Compile data as needed and process and distribute daily/weekly reporting to internal and external partners

  • Maintain relationship with transportation partners including Pacific Logistics and FEDEX

  • Maintain the Overgoods area on the processing floor on a daily/weekly basis

  • Communicate with supervisors and/or associates with regards to information concerning the receiving and processing of merchandise and/or return or donation of product to the vendors

  • Keep work area clean and free of clutter

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Perform any required VAS duties as assigned according to needs of the business

  • Must be available to work select weekend (Saturday) hours during peak seasons

     

 

Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and affectively.

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment

  • Above average computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel to include pivot table, flow charts, formula      input etc., Word, PowerPoint

  • Walking, Standing, Bending, Pushing, Pulling often ------- These actions are related to the Overgoods Duties
