Job Description Summary
The Copywriter develops polished, on-brand written content for a variety of print and digital marketing assets while collaborating with cross-functional client stakeholders, managing workflow and deadlines through established processes, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in style, tone, and editorial standards.
JOB DUTIES:
Write and edit creative copy following our voice and tone and editorial standards for a variety of assets including print and digital marketing collateral, sponsorship and display ads and signage
Collaborate with cross-functional client stakeholders
Provide clean, final copy documents to design team for layout
Proofread copy in layout to ensure accuracy
Collaborate with stakeholders to write/edit copy to work within our established content and design guidelines
Key stakeholders for the above assets include the Client Development, Marketing & Communications, Talent, Pro Bono, and Alumni teams
Route copy-related tasks independently while working within existing processes using our workflow management tool, Workfront
Ability to engage with stakeholders, address feedback critically and appropriately, and provide reasoning and solutions
Proficiency across industry standard platforms and ability to learn new programs: Microsoft Office, Word, Teams, Box
Experience with Workfront or similar workflow management tool

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:
Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail; emphasis on proofreading capabilities with B2B experience as a plus
Able to follow and implement AP Style and engage with evolving brand style guidelines and best practices
Strong time management skills; ability to adapt to changing needs and project priorities, while consistently meeting all project deadlines
Effective communication skills with designers, team members, and stakeholders
Additional Information
The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $27hour - $28.50/hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
