Job Description
The Value-Based Platform (VBP) Product team plays a key role in shaping and delivering solutions that advance aspects of value-based care within Risant Health Organizations (RHOs). The portfolio of solutions drives outcomes – total cost of care reduction, clinical quality improvement, better experiences, health equity and simplicity – to achieve business and financial objectives. The VBP Product team partners with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to develop and implement solutions, ensure user adoption, and drive measurable quality, cost, and performance outcomes.
The VBP Implementation Strategy & Support Lead is responsible for leading the strategic deployment and scaling of value-based payment (VBP) solutions across multiple Risant Health organizations. This role manages the VBP solutions portfolio, develops a scalable operating model, and ensures successful adoption through structured implementation, change management, and risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The lead develops and manages a multi-tier support model for solutions, closely coordinating with clinical and operational leads, tech and engineering and vendor partners to provide support post-deployment.
The role focuses on driving measurable outcomes, resolving implementation challenges, and enabling sustained value realization for clients.
Job Responsibilities
Lead Deployment & Scaling: Oversee the deployment of validated VBP solutions across multiple Risant Health organizations, ensuring consistent replication, maintenance, and scalability for non-clinical operations-focused solutions.
Portfolio Management at RHO: Manage the overall portfolio of VBP solutions, developing and refining a deployment roadmap and scalable operating model to support adoption across organizations. Offers collective insights from the Risant Health Organizations to inform development ideas for new solutions.
Implementation Metrics & Performance Tracking: Partner with Implementation Leads to design and maintain an implementation metrics framework; monitor portfolio performance and provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities. Recommends enhancements to maximize value realization.
Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Identify operational or adoption challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with Business Leads and Engagement Leads to define and execute corrective actions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Partner with the Engagement Leads for RHO strategy alignment, engagements, and communication planning. Supports workshops and collaborative sessions with Design and Insights teams to guide solution contextualization and ensure alignment with organizational needs.
Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to drive smooth adoption of VBP solutions across diverse organizational environments.
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments for each implementation, develop mitigation strategies, and integrate them into the overall VBP solution deployment plan.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with solution management teams to adapt and contextualize solutions for the unique requirements of each Risant Health organization.
Leadership: Staff and develop RHO engagement and support leadership
Qualifications
Required Technical Competencies
Strong understanding of value-based payment models and healthcare delivery systems.

- Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement tools to track implementation success.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and customer-focused mindset to drive adoption and outcomes.
- Working knowledge of healthcare data, quality measures, and clinical workflows.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience: Seven (7) years in healthcare operations, value-based care, or large-scale program implementation.
- Supervisory/Management Experience: Three (3) years of supervisory or people leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams.
Other:
- Proven track record in portfolio management and solution deployment across multiple organizations.
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives in a healthcare or payer-provider environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Education: Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
- Certification: Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Change Management (e.g., Prosci) is a plus.
