Job Description
- The Masseuse is responsible for providing professional massage and wellness treatments while delivering exceptional guest service in accordance with the hotel's luxury standards.
- Responsibilities include performing a variety of massage therapies, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, maintaining treatment records, assisting with spa or recreation reception duties when required, promoting spa services, handling guest inquiries professionally, monitoring supplies and equipment, reporting maintenance issues, and complying with all hotel policies, health and safety regulations, fire and emergency procedures.
- The role requires maintaining excellent grooming standards, attending training sessions, supporting departmental operations, and performing any additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related field.
- Valid Massage Therapist License or Government-approved certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Masseuse in a hotel, resort, spa, or wellness center; five-star hotel experience preferred.
- Proficient in various massage techniques.
- Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance with strong attention to hygiene and grooming.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
