Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Lakewood, United States. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll work collaboratively with your team to receive, stock, stage, and ship materials in a manner that meets our company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.   • Receive incoming materials from vendors, customers, and other warehouse locations, verifying quantities and descriptions against packing lists
  • Stock and organize incoming orders on shelves in designated areas in an orderly manner
  • Prepare and process customer orders from the warehouse, ensuring correct product types and quantities are selected
  • Process shipment paperwork, including verification of merchandise, application of labels and postage, and adherence to customer shipping instructions
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required
  • Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles with precision and care
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records
  • Inspect equipment and perform minor maintenance tasks; alert supervisors to any repair or service needs
  • Report freight damage claims and maintain detailed documentation of warehouse transactions
  • Contribute to a culture of safety by following established Standard Operating Procedures and Environmental Health and Safety rules
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals and deadlines
  • Assist with training entry-level warehouse staff and provide mentorship when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations

Qualifications

  • Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and warehouse protocols
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Basic computer knowledge for warehouse management systems
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience
  • Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
  • General knowledge of electrical products or related industry experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Problem-solving abilities and resilience in handling workplace challenges
  • Experience with inventory management systems

For the state of New Jersey only, the pay range is $16.00 to $18.00, depending upon qualifications, experience and other considerations permitted by law.
