Job Description
The Sales Engineer for TENADO will serve as a critical bridge between our advanced CAD software solutions and our customers across the U.S. market. This role combines strong technical expertise with a passion for consultative selling, enabling manufacturers to achieve efficiency and innovation through our tools. You will partner closely with the sales team to deliver compelling demonstrations, address complex technical challenges, and ensure seamless solution adoption—bringing an AI-forward mindset to anticipate customer needs and future trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to understand client needs and deliver tailored demonstrations of TENADO CAD solutions.
- Review value-based discovery sessions to understand the customer’s critical business challenges and design demo to align solutions with measurable outcomes.
- Provide technical expertise and product guidance throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a deep understanding of customer requirements.
- Develop and present value-based solution proposals that clearly articulate ROI and strategic benefits for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including product development, marketing, and customer success—to ensure alignment and seamless hand-offs.
- Support sales team with technical inquiries, troubleshooting pre-sales issues, and ensuring prospect is a good fit for the solution.
- Maintain an AI-forward approach by identifying opportunities for automation and innovation within client workflows.
- Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM for reporting and forecasting purposes.
- Attend industry events and conferences for live presentations as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, or Pre-Sales role or 3+ years of practical experience using CAD or similar design software.
- Proven ability to conduct technical demonstrations and articulate complex solutions in a clear, business-focused manner.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business productivity tools.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and trade events.
Preferences
- Experience selling or supporting CAD solutions, PLM, CPQ, or related manufacturing software.
- Familiarity with value-based selling methodologies and consultative sales practices.
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows, design processes, and Industry 4.0 trends.
- Prior experience in pre-sales within an international or mid-market software organization.
- Ability to create and deliver compelling technical presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Exposure to AI-driven technology and automation trends within the design/manufacturing space.
Compensation
This role offers a base salary of up to $70,000 with an annual variable commission potential of $20,000.

Revalize designates standard working hours as 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) for employees based in the United States and 08:00 to 17:00 Central European Time (CET) for employees operating within the EMEA region.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s work experience, education and licenses, work-related training, key skills, the core duties of the role and its associated responsibilities, additional benefits offered, and the location where the work will be performed.
