Renesas is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager based in Taipei to drive regional market development, customer engagement, and business growth for Edge AI Power Management ICs, Battery Backup Unit solutions, and Battery Management IC products. The role will support Taiwan-based OEMs, ODMs, battery-pack and subsystem suppliers, data-center and server ecosystem partners, and semiconductor platform companies. Target applications include AI PCs, edge computing, robotics, smart vision, industrial AI, servers and data-center backup power, energy storage, and other intelligent power systems. The successful candidate will combine power and battery-management knowledge, disciplined product marketing, and strong customer-facing execution to translate regional requirements into differentiated roadmaps, design wins, and sustainable revenue growth.

Job Description

  • Own the Taiwan regional marketing strategy, business plan, opportunity pipeline, and revenue-growth initiatives for Edge AI PMIC, BBU, and BMIC portfolios.
  • Develop market segmentation, target-account priorities, TAM/SAM/SOM assessments, revenue forecasts, and multi-year design-win plans for Taiwan customers and ecosystem partners.
  • Build executive and working-level relationships with OEMs, ODMs, server manufacturers, battery-pack makers, board and module suppliers, data-center power partners, processor vendors, and other strategic accounts.
  • Drive customer discovery for Edge AI power trees, high-current processor rails, battery monitoring and protection, backup-power architectures, and rack- or system-level energy-storage requirements.
  • Translate customer requirements into product definitions, roadmap priorities, reference designs, ecosystem partnerships, pricing assumptions, and investment business cases.
  • Develop clear positioning and value propositions for PMIC, BMIC, BBU, and complete system solutions, including efficiency, transient response, telemetry, safety, reliability, scalability, solution size, and total cost of ownership.
  • Partner with Sales and Field Applications Engineering on account strategy, opportunity qualification, technical promotion, sampling, pricing, qualification, and design-win conversion.
  • Lead regional product introductions, customer workshops, architecture reviews, roadmap discussions, competitive benchmarking, and demand-generation activities.
  • Manage business and program reviews covering funnel quality, design-win milestones, forecast, pricing, gross margin, supply readiness, qualification status, and production ramp.
  • Monitor competitor products, platform transitions, customer sourcing strategies, battery and power-architecture trends, and regional ecosystem developments; provide actionable recommendations to global leadership.
  • Coordinate with global Product Marketing, Engineering, Systems, Applications, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve execution gaps and accelerate revenue realization.
  • Identify opportunities to combine Renesas PMICs, BMICs, MCUs/MPUs, connectivity, sensing, and power devices into differentiated winning combinations and reference platforms.
  • Represent Taiwan customer and market priorities in global portfolio planning, product roadmap reviews, and new-product investment decisions.
