Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary marketing director to lead the brand strategy and marketing operations for METAXA, a Greek Spirit. This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic marketing professional passionate about premium spirits, innovation and international brand growth.

Responsibilities

•Develop and execute the comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with global brand vision and regional market dynamics.

•Lead the product innovation pipeline, collaborating with R&D packaging and commercial teams to deliver market- winning products. Special emphasis on sustainable packaging, eco- friendly practices, and development of RTD and other emerging spirit format.

•Drive brand positioning, consumer engagement, and growth initiatives in key European and international markets.

•Lead cross functional collaboration with sales, product development, and external agencies to deliver impactful campaigns and activations

•Manage the marketing budget and measure ROI to optimize spend and maximize brand equity

•Oversee digital marketing, social media, events, sponsorships.

•Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to identify new opportunities and risks

•Guide the marketing team, comprised of 5 people, based in Geneva and Athens, to foster creativity, discipline and high performance.

Qualifications

•You have minimum 7-10 years of marketing leadership experience in the spirit, wine or beverage industry,

•A proven track record of driving brand growth and market share in competitive international markets,

•A deep understanding of spirits category trends, consumer behaviors, and premium brand positioning,

•Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills,

•An ability to work in a multicultural team and thrive in a dynamic environment,

•Fluent English.

Duration: 7 months

Expected start date: December 1st, 2025
