About the role:
As an IT Governance& Financial Analyst (m/f/d), you’ll play a key role in ensuring our governance framework operates seamlessly. From managing high-quality data and facilitating cross-department collaboration to driving process improvements with tools like Jira and Confluence, your work will directly support operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

About your tasks: 

• Process and validate IT data for monthly reports while maintaining high standards of data quality and automating the process.
• Support the tracking and evaluation of IT investments to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
• Monitoring IT budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports to support decision-making and forecasting.
• Provide project performance data to accounting for accurate financial tracking and Invoicing.
• Collaborate with the IT governance team to develop concepts and roll out new governance initiatives.
• Prepare impactful presentations and reports for IT management, ensuring key insights are clearly communicated.
• Conduct data analysis to identify risks and recommend opportunities for improvement using automation tool like Power Query, Power BI or similar.

About you: 

• A completed professional education in the IT field or a comparable qualification.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Jira, Excel, Confluence and Power Query/Power BI  
• Experience in IT “investment” controlling (monitoring and reporting) is an advantage
• Experience in IT project management, governance principles like COBIT/ITIL, and IT process documentation is a great plus.
• Good knowledge of German (B2 level) is essential.
• Business Proficiency in English required.
