Job Description

Due to exciting growth we are looking for multiple enthusiastic and talented Senior Mechanical Analysis/Structural Engineers, to lead structural and thermal analysis, and support mechanical integrity testing of novel technology products and systems.

 

You will be working in a dynamic and fast paced team, with the opportunity to contribute across a range of projects. In your role you will be part of a multi-disciplined engineering team where you will be responsible for carrying out stress analysis by hand calculation and FE, assessing solutions, and presenting work to peers, managers and external partners.

 

Qualifications

To be successful you'll need:

  • to have a degree in a STEM subject or equivalent engineering/manufacturing experience
  • Sound understanding of fundamental structural analysis principles as applied to lightweight structures and/or pressure vessels, either from recent study or industry experience
  • to be able to establish structural requirements, verification methodologies and test plans.
  • have experience of a commercial structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software package
  • have delivered presentations of technical work to reviewers

Salary: up to £52,000 - depending on experience
