Company Description

We are looking for a Content Editor with experience in copywriting, content editing or content marketing to be the voice of our brands at ReachWork, focussing on engaging both B2B (employers & recruiters) and B2C (job seeker) audiences.

As part of the broader Marketing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for refining and optimising job adverts across our specialist sites, crafting high-quality career content for our blogs, sharing content across our social channels and working collaboratively with our commercial teams to ensure top results for our clients.

This role will be a part time position (3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), remote-first with occasional travel into our Canary Wharf office.

About us

Part of Reach Plc, the UK’s largest national and regional news publisher, ReachWork is a portfolio of specialist job sites including GAAPweb.com (Finance & Accountancy), TotallyLegal.com (Legal) and SecsInTheCity.co.uk (PA/Business Support).

What will the role involve

In this busy and varied role, you will own the tone of voice for each brand and act as a gatekeeper for all written content on the ReachWork sites.

Responsibilities will  include researching and writing market-specific articles, creating and managing social media posts - including video creation, and collaborating with partners on commissioned content and event promotions.

With a view to boosting visibility and response rates across all of our platforms, you will have an excellent understanding of SEO and how to enhance organic traffic through best practices.

Who are we looking for?

With the ability to adapt tone by brand, we are looking for someone with experience of writing a variety of content that appeals to both corporate and consumer audiences - from social media posts and on-site messaging, through to white papers and long form articles.

A track record of optimising content for search engines and using multiple social platforms is essential.  You will also be working closely with our SEO consultant, internal stakeholders and external partners, so strong stakeholder management and communication skills are a must.
